Skerrols House, situated at Bridgend in the centre of the island, is the ideal base from which to explore every corner of the island and still be back in time for relaxation.
We enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, and whether you visit Islay to sample the whisky or enjoy the nature, we provide excellent accommodation and aim to make your stay unforgettable from the minute you arrive with us.
Our guest rooms are designed with our guests in mind, using top quality bed linen, luxurious bathrobes and Arran Aromatics toiletries, allowing you to pamper yourself during your stay.
All bedrooms are equipped with free wireless internet access and flat screen satellite television for those wanting to keep in touch with the ‘outside world’. Islay is famous for its whisky – the Islay malts have followers all over the world. The unique geography provides the ingredients for distinctive malts of the highest quality, and the whisky alone is worth a visit.

Start your day with juicy fresh berries, luxuriously creamy yoghurt with Scottish honey, porridge followed by selection of cold meats and cheese with warm croissants and pastries. Then onto our delicious cooked breakfast of freshly laid eggs prepared as you like them with succulent sausages, bacon, Stornaway black pudding, fluffy potato scone topped with grilled tomato. Or try our signature dish of rich scrambled eggs with Scottish smoked salmon on a warm toasted muffin.
After breakfast you will be ready to take on all that Islay has to offer !
